Ten years ago, the inception of îLESONIQ Festival planted its roots in the heart of Montréal’s thriving electronic music scene. Flash forward to 2025–a full decade later–one of Canada’s premier music festivals is here to celebrate one hell of a decade under their belt with their biggest edition to date.
The 2025 edition once again stakes its claim to the city’s iconic Parc Jean-Drapeau over August 9 and 10 weekend, welcoming thousands of festivalgoers back for a weekend stacked with dance music’s most in-demand names. This year’s lineup is second to none, bringing star-powered headlining acts like John Summit and Illenium to close out the mainstage each night of the 10-year celebration. Joining them across the weekend are mainstage veterans, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and Alesso, each bringing their signature sounds to the anniversary edition.
True to Montréal’s reputation as the “bass capital of Canada,” îLESONIQ delivers a hard-hitting dose of dubstep and drum & bass with heavyweights like Chase & Status, plus back-to-back sets from Tape B and Levity, as well as Sullivan King and Crankdat, sure to rattle the festival’s bass stage.
House and techno are well-represented no doubt, bringing a handful of current favorites to steal the show: MAU P, Layton Giordani, LP Giobbi, Eli Brown, Maddix, Sofi Tukker, and Dancing Astronaut‘s Breakout Artist of 2024, Max Styler.
