SOREN pushes the edges of his sound on ‘BLINDING’ with Bryant Powell

A new era of SOREN sound is dawning — and it’s “BLINDING.”

From color kicks, Middle Eastern influence, and a diversion from female vocalists, “HAUNTED BY YOU” alongside Dutch singer-songwriter Jorik Burema and “AVALON” were early signs of the Dirty Workz signee’s sonic evolution. On “BLINDING,” it’s more emphatic than ever before.

Emboldened by rousing, rock-adjacent vocals from Bryant Powell, the brooding single builds and detonates in an arc that makes it play like a scene straight out of an action movie. Moody and visceral, “BLINDING” adds new texture to SOREN’s sound but still hits with the same precision, intensity, and emotional resonance that have always distinguished his sonic signature. With his latest one-off, the Los Angeles-based producer further develops and refines the blueprint for the genre’s sound in the States, setting a high bar — as always — to follow.

“BLINDING” is out now via Dirty Workz. Listen below.
