Congorock – Babylon (4B Remix) [Free Download]
It's been 5 years since Congorock unleashed the monstrous "Babylon," a defining moment is both his career and the sounds and styles of the EDM explosion. One of the biggest tracks of 2010, A-Trak singled out "Babylon" as one of the scene-transcending tracks that brought indie electronic style and big room energy together for the first time. To celebrate it's 5th birthday, heavy-duty dance outfit 4B have reworked the already massive original into an absolute monster of ham-fisted bass and screaming synthwork. Already supported by DJ Snake during his Ultra 2015 set, this revival of the epoch shifting "Congorock" is available as a free download.
DA Premiere: Congorock & Mindshake – Nok Nok (Original Mix)
Congorock is back with a vengeance alongside Mindshake on the bone-rattling "Nok Nok." Joining forces for a stint on Ultra Records, the duo craft a ferocious electro monster that has all the intensity of Congorock's early hits. "Nok Nok" throws subtly out the window with a frenetic and malevolent barrage of teeth-grinding synths destined for peak time festival consumption. Massive syncopated kicks and siren-like stabs bring us back to Congorock's "Ivory" and "Agarta" days -- and that's a great thing.
Congorock leaks his ‘Safari’ edit of Clockwork’s ‘Titan’ [Free Download]
Creator of the infamous elephant bass, Rocco Rampino, known to most as electro-house producer Congorock, has carved a niche for himself with his unique blend of melody and impossibly gritty bass lines. His latest effort, a rework of Clockwork's bouncy electro track "Titan," has all of the elements we've come to expect from a classic Congorock production. Steel-drum driven percussive patterns are flanked on either side by the original's chirpy synth stabs before culminating in the sort of bone-rattling drop that can only be delivered by Rocco's signature bass sound. The edit is available for download until this Sunday, so grab it before it's gone.
