Stuffa is probably not a name that rings many bells, but the collective of the two musical minds of Jonas Rathsman and DJ Nibc has returned for the first time in just about three years to deliver a new EP entitled Levitate. A lot can change in three years — Rathsman has risen to relatively prominence under French Express and DJ Nibc has continued to chug along, contributing to a number of big compilations and projects with Trunkfunk Records. These two Swedes, however, certainly have not lost their touch. Classic house chords, soulful vocal samples, and playful hi-hats pepper “Levitate” and “Keep On,” making for a versatile collection of house tunes. Watch for a release soon on Trunkfunk Records.
