HAWD HITTA lives up to his name on Rogelio-assisted house heater, ‘See Me’

With 30-plus shows in 10 different states across the nation to his credit, HAWD HITTA has spent recent months beefing up his live resume and now, he’s doing just that on the original releases end. The up-and-coming producer, born Austin Diduch, aligns his name with Rogelio for “See Me,” which derives part of its catchiness from its piano notes and the rest from its deep-house orientation. From the just-over-three-minute anthemic jaunt, it’s evident that HAWD HITTA’s got an ear for beat work that’ll induce body movement, and Rogelio’s vocals add a touch of soul to the summer-positioned production.

The emerging Los Angeles-anchored act has cited the sounds of the ‘70s and ‘80s—especially disco—as key influencing elements of his style, and these inspirations can be expected to find fuller figuration in HAWD HITTA’s work as he continues to expand his catalog. In the meantime, though, “See Me” is evidence of why he’s attracted recognition from MORTEN and Clinton Sparks. Having amassed more than 20,000 streams already, “See Me” is available to hear in full below.
