Astralwerks celebrates its 20th anniversary with extensive box set
From humble beginnings in 1993 as an independent boutique label, Astralwerks Records has spent the last 20 years igniting the fuses responsible for the electronica boom of the ’90s and this millenium’s EDM. Responsible for fostering the sounds of Kraftwerk to Swedish House Mafia, the label has established itself as one of the most forward looking entities in music today. To celebrate its 20-year anniversary, Astralwerks will be releasing a limited edition box set entitled Astralwerks: Music in 20/20, a set that spans 20 years with 20 tracks from 20 artists – all pressed onto vinyl flexi discs. The collection includes exclusives and b-sides from Air, Diamond Rings, Hot Chip, Kings of Convenience, Kraftwerk, and The Kooks but serves as a mere snapshot of the entire range of extraordinary talent the label has exposed in the two decades since its inception.
