Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike ft. Boostedkids – G.I.P.S.Y. (Original Mix)
Although Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have graced the top of Beatport five times this year, the Belgian duo doesn't seem to be resting on their laurels. With an impending release alongside DVBBS and Borgeous slated to hit Beatport on November 18th, the two Belgians team up with Italian duo Boostedkids for the haunting "G.I.P.S.Y." Originally heard in Tomorrowland's after movie, "G.I.P.S.Y." utilizes a flute driven breakdown and a dark, pounding climax which results in one of the Belgian duo's most unique productions.
Syn Cole – Miami 82 (Avicii Edit) [Preview]
Although Avicii's debut artist album "True" is only two months old, the Swedish juggernaut shows no signs of slowing down his release schedule. Debuted by Pete Tong on Friday, Syn Cole's Miami 82 receives the Avicii treatment and Tim Bergling transforms the original mix into something all his own. The edit is more aggressive than most of Avicii's productions and completely devoid of the melodic climaxes we've all come to know and love from the 24-year-old Swede, but it still showcases Avicii's production prowess and his penchant for creating music that immediately gets stuck in your head.
Afrojack ft. Spree Wilson – The Spark (Blasterjaxx Remix)
Although the lead single from Afrojack's upcoming album strayed away from the Dutch superstar's trademark brand of "Afrojack music," the Spree Wilson assisted single has received a few peak time makeovers. First came Tiesto and twoloud's melodic interpretation and the newest remix comes courtesy of Blasterjaxx. The up and coming Dutch duo add a barrage of festival approved synths that turns the lighter, radio-ready single into a big room showstopper.
