Above & Beyond announces the end of their legendary Trance Around The World radio show
Trance fans all over the world were both shocked and saddened with the announcement on this week's Trance Around The World #449 that their special 450 show in Bangalore would be their last ever. They began the episode as a retrospective, but only framed it as a lead up to TATW 450. The episode itself is a beautiful recap of some of the most beautiful Anjunabeats releases we've seen and now surely will be looked to as a major turning point for the Above & Beyond and Anjunabeats fans all over. Opening with Parker & Hanson's "Arabesque," and moving through favorites from Jaytech, Mat Zo, Super8 & Tab, Mike Koglin, Andrew Bayer, Nitrous Oxide, Arty, and many more, the trio appropriately ends with their own Analogue Haven remix of OceanLab's "Breaking Ties." To conclude the episode's final track, the trio, who have been releasing this radio show weekly for the past nine years, state "finally some news just in.. Trance Around the World 450 will be the last ever Trance Around the World.. bye for now." We have not heard what this means about the future of the group itself and future releases or touring, but it is definitely the end of a wonderful era of trance music and a hard pill to swallow for many around the world. We will update if and when we hear more back from Anjunabeats.
Watch This: Kid conquers bullies with spaceship in Alex Kenji & Richard Dinsdale’s ‘Stars In The Sky’ music video
House, tech house, and sometimes even acid house producer and Hotfingers label head Alex Kenji is out with a new video for his "Stars In The Sky" single with Richard Dinsdale, out on November 26th. In a similar vein to mega-hit "Pressure," the track uses a powerful female vocal (this time from Californian Kandace Ferrel) to complement a frenetic electro build and a super funky break. Watch the music video and feel great about the fall of bullies everywhere.
Sultan & Ned Shepard – Organ Donor [Free Download]
Canadian producers Sultan & Ned Shepard have been releasing dance music as far back as 2007, but only recently really gaining steam and grabbing attention with big room hits like "Walls" (featured on Tiesto's Club Life Vol. 2) and "Somebody to Love" with Dirty Vegas. Now they're back again with a free download of a new track called "Organ Donor" from their Facebook page. On this one, they strip out the poppier big room sound they've become recognized for and replace it with a sinister intro, minor chord progressions, and a heavier electro house break.

French Fries delivers Space Alarm EP, drives future bass movement forward
First picking up steam back in March with his "Yo Vogue" release on Dirtybird, French Fries is back with a four track EP entitled Space Alarm. Admittedly the "future bass" or "post-dubstep" sound French Fries represents is not for everyone, but if you can get into it, it sounds insanely good.
Atlas Genius – Back Seat (Goldroom Remix) [Free Download]
Southern Californian tropical disco maestro Goldroom put his signature good vibes touch on Australian indie band Atlas Genius's "Back Seat" in a free download released on his Soundcloud page yesterday. With the rework, the track transforms from a sprightly indie jam out session to an even more atmospheric disco tune. Atlas Genius's first single, "Trojans," (originally released in May 2011) got the rework from talent like Fred Falke, Lenno, and Xaphoon Jones and now it only seems to be a matter of time before other producers follow in Goldroom's wake and take a stab at this track as well. Get that free download hooked up after the break.
