Crystal Castles aren’t dead after all, return with ‘Frail’
Crystal Castles fans can rejoice in knowing that despite Alice Glass leaving the band last fall, the project remains alive and well in the hands of Ethan Kath. At first listen the vocalist on "Frail" sounds eerily similar to Glass, but Pitchfork has confirmed that despite the near-match, the singer here is not the old CC vocalist. Still, everything we loved about the indie electronic outfit is present on "Frail" including startling vocal scowls and heavily-filtered grit that take us back to the blog house era of electronic music.

Since their debut album "I" in 2008, Crystal Castles has been a staple name in electronic music, putting out numerous limited release vinyls, three studio albums, as well as globally touring. That is until this morning when vocalist Alice Glass went to social media channels to announce her decision to leave the group. The decision was fueled by personal as well as professional reasons.
