Armin van Buuren brings ASOT 600 to Madison Square Garden, New World Punx perform for the first time as a duo
Armin Van Buuren stands backstage at Madison Square Garden, he sways idly, half of his body cloaked behind the large black curtain that separates the Garden's staff tunnels and a crowd of photographers. His calm - almost unnatural, his breathing - measured, an unlikely attitude for a man about to perform in front of a sold out Madison Square Garden. Before Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz, as the new superduo, New World Punx close out their set, Armin steps out from behind the curtain and slowly approaches the stairs leading up to the twenty foot high platform. Cameras flash, Armin smiles placing one hand on the railing, turning only for a second, before he makes his ascent into history.
Stargazers: Who is Cory Lasser?
On February 2nd, Eric Prydz made Essential Mix history with one of the most hotly anticipated and buzzed about Radio 1 mixes in recent memory. Listeners were taken on a journey through an impeccable selection of Pryda originals, but one track stood out as an anomaly in the set list - a completely unknown production from a completely unknown producer. "Cypher" by Cory Lasser, kicks in about a third of the way through Pryda's essential mix - buzzing and grinding it's way alongside productions from one of the most highly-regarded producers in the world. The surprise wasn't just one just shared by listeners - Cory himself had no idea that the track was being featured in the mix until a friend pointed it out after the show aired. We got a hold of the budding producer to ask him about the experience and the whirlwind of recognition that followed - and to answer the obvious question, "Who is Cory Lasser?

Swedish House Mafia’s Black Tie Rave Auction #2 opens Friday at 10am EST
When Swedish House Mafia first announced the Black Tie Rave concept, some fans were confused. Attending a rave in cocktail attire isn't typical, but it is unique. Despite the confusion, as with everything the trio do, demand was high and the first round of tickets disappeared quickly raising over $437,000 in the process. Auction number two takes place this Friday beginning at 10am. We anticipate the demand will be similarly high, so prepare to bid quickly. The starting price is $100.
