Ten must see veterans at Ultra Music Festival 2013
Over the course of its two weekends, there are nearly 300 artists performing at Ultra Music Festival this year. In 2013, the festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary as dance music's most celebrated occasion and the season's highly anticipated kick off. In that period of time, the lineup has changed a lot -- not just in scope but also in sound -- but there are names that remain pillars of Miami's greatest electronic music tradition. These are names who've been at it longer than many of us have been walking and they deserve not just a tip of the hat, but also your time and attention at their impending Ultra sets. He's collaborated with Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, and Luca C (better known as the powerhouse Hot Natured collective) on the summer anthem "Benediction," and is one half of the acclaimed duo Infinity Ink with Luca C. His new track "Emperor," set for release on Damian Lazarus's Crosstown Rebels on April 1st, gets a groovy touch from none other than deep house groovesmith Maceo Plex.
Beyond Wonderland 2013 lineup revealed, tickets on sale now
Insomniac Events has revealed the 2013 lineup for this year's Beyond Wonderland, and it features an all encompassing lineup from the entire dance music spectrum. The festivals new location is set at San Manuel Amphitheater in Southern California and will host a multistage setup with some of the biggest names in dance music. Superstar acts like Afrojack and Steve Angello share the same bill with underground phenoms like Damian Lazaras and Maceo Plex. No matter your musical pallet, this festival has a DJ for everyone.
