TomorrowWorld announces second phase of artists for 2014 festival, adds Maceo Plex, Carnage, NERVO, Dillon Francis and many more
TomorrowWorld's sophomore jaunt in Georgia continues to expand with the announcement of the second wave of artists to grace its stages. The second artist announcement packs a heavier punch than round one, adding A-Trak, Carnage, Dillon Francis, NERVO, Sub Focus, Maceo Plex, Laidback Luke, Datsik, Ferry Corsten, Paco Osuna, Showtek, Zed's Dead, W&W and Tommy Trash to the top card. The under card is just as stacked, with Claude VonStroke, Bassjackers, Isaac Tichauer, Ookay, Lee Burridge and countless more rounding out a highly inclusive lineup that leaves no electronic stone un-turned.
UPDATED: Q-Dance faces scrutiny from local officials, stage unlikely to return for TomorrowWorld 2014
It seems that although TomorrowWorld's debut US event was an undeniable success, local residents were still unhappy with the decibel levels emitted from the festival. The main culprit? The Q-Dance stage, which is now facing an uncertain future as local officials and ID&T representatives discussed in a recent town hall meeting. TomorrowWorld Representative, Barbara Bouckaert, spoke at the Cedar Grove community meeting to address concerns about the excessive noise. According to Bouckaert, due to noise complaints the Q-Dance stage will no longer be part of TomorrowWorld 2014, and the location where the stage existed will remain empty. Bill Edwards, Fulton County Commissioner, also expressed concerns about the festival going on for four days despite being advertised as a 3-day event, putting a possible damper on the DreamVille opening party on Thursday night.
Relive TomorrowWorld with official after movie
This past September, ID&T's flagship festival made its way across the ocean and touched down in Chattahoochee Hills - a small town just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. For three days, revelers celebrated in what has unanimously been described as an incredible success by both fans and townsfolk alike. Whether you missed out on the experience or attended history in the making, TomorrowWorld's official recap video -- one that clocks in at just under 17-minutes -- perfectly sums up the excitement, energy and euphoria of ID&T's first American festival.
