Rudimental ft. John Newman – Feel the Love (Kill Paris Remix)
Rudimental's "Feel the Love" debuted nearly a year ago as the English drum 'n' bass group's biggest single to date. With its jive-worthy instrumentation and raspy vocal track from John Newman, the track displayed a keen R&B overtone, making it a prime candidate for a remix from Kill Paris.
Crazy P – Heartbreaker (Original + Remixes)
We don't talk about too much live dance musicians, but Crazy P is definitely a group not to be forgotten. The five member ensemble first banded together almost twenty years ago and in some shape or form have been creating house-disco records for the modern age ever since. The lastest effort, out this week on 2020Vision Recordings, is quite honestly one of my favorites of the year.
Free Download: Rudimental feat. Angel Haze – Hell Could Freeze
Rudimental dropped a new track on their Soundcloud page yesterday, and we couldn't be happier it features Angel Haze. "Hell Could Freeze" is one part RnB soul jam and one part syncopated house track. Angel, alternating between spitting dirty rap lines and sickly sweet tones, also shows her diversity. Think of what would happen if Delilah and Azealia Banks made a baby and you'll get the swagger of Angel Haze.
Good Morning Mix – Rudimental, Kidnap Kid & Gorgon City on Diplo & Friends (11/4/2012)
Takeovers on Diplo's Radio 1xtra show are always top quality electronic music, but this recent contribution from our friends over at Black Butter Records including the likes of foursome Rudimental, Kidnap Kid, and the new Gorgon City collab between Foamo and Rack 'N Ruin, absolutely knocked us out of our seats. The three guest mixes showcase the best of the three artists' work to date, some high-powered and glossy remixes, and even some older swagger from The Fugees, Shuggie Otis, and Michael Jackson. We love it, you'll love it too. Enjoy below and follow along with full tracklist.
