Listen to ‘Zombies in Love’ and win a pair of tickets to EDC NY from the Manufactured Superstars
Spacesuit-wearing duo, The Manufactured Superstars deliver another bouncy pop house outing with "Zombies in Love." Enlisting the help of anthemic choral lines and sugary-sweet piano rolls, "Zombies in Love" is much brighter than the name suggests, generating a feel good peak time vibe with driven percussion and catchy progressions. Scheduled to be released on April 9th, the remix package for "Zombies in Love" switches its focus off of 'love' and onto 'zombies' featuring bass driven and disemboweled versions of the feel good original. K Theory, AC Slater and Jaz von D all take their turns with the mix, creating three remixes that utilize throaty bass and gritty synthwork to transform the vibe into something deliciously sinister.
Bert on Beats turns up the bass with release of new Modern Vampires EP
Fresh from New York's Trouble & Bass label, the folks who bring you releases from the likes of Drop The Lime, AC Slater, Plastician, and others, is a new EP from Estonian producer Bert on Beats. The three track EP, Modern Vampires, offers a range of bass heavy style. The EP isn't easily constrained into a genre; we hear bouncy bass lines and stuttered vocal loops on the title track, a crazy dramatic flute melody on "Flute Thing," and Diplo-like drum kick on "Get Your Freak On." It's not dubstep, it's not moombahton, it's not electro house, it's just heavy bass and it's well-designed for the dance floor.
