Kenny Glasgow leaves Art Department, but the show will go on
After nearly 6 years of producing and performing alongside fellow Canadian, Jonny White, Kenny Glasgow has announced his split from Art Department. The two Canadian producers began working on music together in 2009, ultimately releasing two stunning LPs and a host of originals and remixes that helped defined the nascent underground scene. Driven by a passion to explore the solo side of his production, Glasgow's departure includes a solo album release on White's No.19 imprint. Hardly a bad breakup, the two are only parting ways as a performing duo, not as friends.
Art Department are the first artists to confirm their spot on EDC Las Vegas
Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas is still months away and its official lineup is far from announced, but that didn't stop a well-intentioned graphic designer from spilling the beans on Art Department's Facebook page. In an announcement for their upcoming Spring Tour dates, Art Department included their performance dates for not only EDC Las Vegas, but EDC New York, Tomorrowland Brazil, and Movement -- all of which have yet to officially announce even the first phase of their lineups.
