Russ Chimes previews groovy new cut ‘Take Me Out’ on Annie Mac’s show last week
London's Russ Chimes sees the debut of his brand new original track "Take Me Out" on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show. From the start, the infection lead play fools you into thinking that a dreamy progressive cut is on our hands; but its not until the vocals hit that you notice the house anthem we have before us.
Russ Chimes – Back 2 You (Original Mix)
Featured on Pete Tong's Radio 1 back in May, "Back 2 You" has been floating around the ether of the internet for months as a radio rip, teasing us with it's punchy bass and nu-disco atmosphere. In his usual fashion, Russ drops a pulsating deep house bass line amidst a floaty disco groove, merging the two together in an artfully subtle way. The intricately crafted synthwork, vocal samples and bouncy percussion work perfectly together to create a track that's impossible not to enjoy. Go ahead and delete those ill-begotten radio rips, we will finally see an official Beatport release on July 30th.
