Walden – Intropial (Remixes) [Preview]
Walden enlists TV Noise, Pierce Fulton and Ghost for rework duties. Scheduled for a March 18th release - dead center of Miami Music Week - the "Intropial" remix package fires on all electronic cylinders. TV Noise delivers a rousing progressive electro rendition of "Intropial" with stuttering and high-pitched synth stabs. Pierce Fulton adds tribal drum sections while accentuating the vocals with a pulsing bass line and Ghost turns the mix inside out with a heavy dubstep approach - complete with gut-wrenching drops, thunderous sub bass and more wobbles than you can handle.
New Skrillex music debuted in jeans ad
Skrillex is showing no signs of stopping. A new EP, a boatload of Grammys, and a mysterious new collaboration with Diplo and A-Trak is a lot on its own, but now we've caught wind of more new music from the black-haired bass aficionado -- this time featured on a G-Star Raw commercial
Apocalypto – 600 Kents (Original Mix) [Preview]
Meet Apocalytpo, two 18-year old Melbourne-based producers who have quickly begun to make a name for themselves by melding dark synths with harmonious peaks and catastrophically deep valleys. Their debut release, "600 Kents" was premiered earlier this year as an Essential Selection on Pete Tong's Radio 1 show, establishing these youngsters as ones to watch in 2013. Devastatingly dark and ominous, the duo's debut track is reminiscent of fellow Aussie, Tommy Trash's gritty electro. Striking a delicate balance between chirpy melodies and aggressive sawtooth groans, "600 Kents" epitomizes the genre-blurring we've come to see from many of dance music's newcomers - it's a refreshingly versatile take on an increasingly stagnant genre.
