Where My Head’s At: Justice creates a wall of noise at Coachella
If I had to come up with one reason for why Justice is my favorite electronic act, I would have to say it is because they are different. I've seen enough LED walls and heard enough prepackaged presets to know - what's popular isn't always good. True talent lies within those artists who choose to be different.

Coachella 2012 Day 2 Review (and why you should remember where you parked your car)
The skies opened up on the second day of Coachella, bringing with it an energy that rejuvenated the crowd. Despite numerous (but necessary) distractions, we managed to arrive unscathed at the polo grounds just in time to catch Jacques Lu Cont, who's performance warrants a post all its own. The only way to describe it would be phenomenal, his tight grooves and melodies were the perfect compliment to the beautifully sunny day.

Upon arriving at the polo grounds for Coachella 2012, it was readily apparent that this festival was nothing like those that I frequent back on the East coast. Gone were the bizarrely dressed, pre-teen ravers - instead, fashion-conscious, faux hippies took their place. Goldenvoice chose Indio, California for its predictable weather and comfortable climate. It might rain 5 times a year here. Yesterday just happened to be one of those days.
