We last checked in with Iban Reus with his ultra uptempo "Crazy Circus," and now the resident Balearic groove master is back with a rework of the classic Todd Terry 1994 track "Jumpin." Reus switches out Terry's dominant hi-hats for a modern tech house drums and piano licks -- the results are pretty killer. Keep doing what you're doing, Iban. Hope to hear your stuff at a beach club with tropical drink in hand sooner rather than later.
It's December, and we're all hurting a little bit for the airy summer vibes those famed Spanish isles produce in an unmatched fashion. Iban Reus, resident Balearic DJ, is out with a new track "Crazy Circus" on Toolroom that just may take you to an open air club or oceanfront cafe at sunset. Reus borrows a page straight out of funk's book with his bass lick and keeps the groove going all the way through this crowd-pleasing tech house track. Check out the track and hit up Beatport after the break.
