MSTRKRFT on new album ‘Operator’ and the art of difficult listening [Interview]
The men behind MSTRKRFT are no strangers to intensity, or even to music for that matter. Raised with a home in Toronto's underground scene, Jesse F. Keeler and Alex Puodziukas (Al-P) have spent the better part of the past ten years perfecting the art of difficult listening.
Felix Cartal – H.U.N.T. feat. Sebastien Grainger (JFK Remix)
Jesse Keeler is the second half of Death From Above 1979 alongside Sebastien Grainger, so it's only appropriate that he signed on to do an official remix of Felix Cartal's "H.U.N.T." Under the moniker JFK, he transforms the upbeat original into a grunge heavy rocker. With a breakdown reminiscent of Bart B More's breakneck-paced, acid-house-style and howling vocals to synths to match Sebastien's howling vocals, JFK's remix of "H.U.N.T." easily outshines the original.
