Dancing Astronaut presents Jus Jack and Project 46 at LAVO NYC for New York Fashion Week
New York Fashion Week takes over the Big Apple from February 6th to February 13th, bringing with it a host of parties that feature a nearly endless wave of DJs and fashionistas. On February 8th, Dancing Astronaut has teamed up with LAVO NYC to bring Project 46 and Jus Jack to one of Manhattan's most pre-eminent nightlife destinations. Providing the opening soundtrack for the evening is New York City native Jus Jack, a rising talent that cemented himself as one to watch in 2014 with an appearance on Tiësto's Musical Freedom Future Stars compilation with his original hit "Stars." Canadian duo Project 46 have been making big waves alongside Laidback Luke on their collaboration "Collide," an output that followed another high-profile pairing with Kaskade for "Last Chance." Boasting a club-ready and dance-focused style from both bookings on the bill, LAVO NYC's February 8th Fashion Week Party is one any Manhattanite would be foolish to miss.
Jus Jack joins Musical Freedom’s Future Heroes with ‘Stars’
As Musical Freedom continues on its mission to expand dance music's influence beyond the dance floors and festival tents of the global stage, Tiësto's front-running label brings its Future Heroes to the front lines. Coming this Monday, the Future Heroes EP features Hiz, Jus Jack, Kaaze and TV Noise - all reputable and emerging talents incubated by the Musical Freedom masthead, poised for their moment in the sun. Jus Jack joins the Futures Heroes family with a crisply produced progressive house cut dubbed "Stars." An output that sits soundly in Musical Freedom's catalog of hits, double J uses atmospheric synth work to build and release tension in a classic and infectious big room play. There aren't any festival gimmicks or cheesy drops at work here, just well-assembled and melodically-driven dance floor fuel.
Jus Jack announces new label Party People, releases track by the same name
Receiving early support from Kaskade and Michael Brun, Jus Jack's latest release "Party People" coincides with the launch of his new label and radioshow of the same name. Curated by Jus Jack himself, Party People will see releases from Feenixpawl, David Tort, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Dzeko & Torres, DBerrie and more. The label's debut release, "Party People" follows the festival-friendly style that defined 2013 to a tee. The track's big kicks and even bigger drops do well to set the stage for what we can expect from Jus Jack's exciting new imprint.
