You all know the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Normally, you don't meddle with things that are successful, you stay the course and inherently know that the outcome will be positive. The original mix of "Eyes Wide Open" was great, it was heard everywhere and had that punch line that every good vocal song has - "close my eyes, I'm next to you."
