Wolfgang Gartner previews upcoming original 'Piranha'
It's a known fact that anything coming out of Wolfgang Gartner's studio is always guaranteed to assume a minimal level of excellence. The "Illmerica" producer has made it quite clear that rather than playing the game and producing uninspired, boiler plate festival fodder, he prefers to stick to his roots, approaching every production with a meticulous, nearly obsessive compulsive, attention to detail. Following up his collaboration alongside electro-peer Tommy Trash on "Hounds of Hell," Gartner primes his next solo output "Piranha" for global release. Clocking in at just 38 seconds, this preview is less of a teaser and more akin to waking up from a dream just as the best part starts, but, for what it lacks in length, it more than makes up for in budding anticipation.
SAVOY ft. Bright Lights – I Dare You (Original Mix)
Groundbreaking live electro outfit, SAVOY, team up with Bright Lights on their latest Kindergarten Recordings release, "I Dare You." In typical SAVOY fashion, the group infuses their rock roots with gritty electro synthwork, complementing hard rock drum sections with frigid synth stabs and a blistering electro house break. An anthemic, alt-rock vocal line from Bright Lights rounds out the offering with siren-like wails - creating the perfect blend of rock and electronica.
