Zeds Dead showcase their production chops in a big way on their rework of Martin Solveig and GTA's smash hit "Intoxicated." Blurring the lines between their early dubstep identity and whatever "future" definition is the flavor of this month, DC and Hooks continue to establish their complete disregard for genre pigeon-holing. It was their collaboration with Oliver Heldens, "You Know," that marked the duo's first foray into the future distinction and they return to that style with their own identity in tow. Slowing the original's bpm down to a crawl, the Canadian duo install a shifty house bass line that eventually becomes intertwined with a growling dubstep sub bass and discordant effect work for a truly bi-polar production. Thanks to its Jekyll meets Hyde aspirations, Zeds Dead remix of Solveig and GTA's "Intoxicated" is the coolest thing you'll hear all day.
