Swedish House Mafia announce final tour dates, ending their legacy at Ultra Music Festival
Standing at the forefront of the modern day EDM boom, Swedish House Mafia have delivered a flawless array of anthems, sold out Madison Square Garden, and gave goosebumps to millions of adoring fans throughout the world. When the trio announced their split, shockwaves were sent through the entire dance music landscape. The group, whose name had nearly become synonymous with electronic dance music, was calling it quits, seemingly at the peak of their success. Thankfully, the trio weren't going to go out without making a ton of noise and launched a worldwide tour, an enigmatic marketing campaign, and a slew of teasers that kept us all on the edge of our seats. With their final announcement to play March 14th and 25th of Ultra Music Festival, it seems poetic that their story will come to a close much the same way it began - in Miami, during the largest dance music event on the East Coast.
Swedish House Mafia to announce final date on One Last Tour Tuesday at 9am EST
Swedish House Mafia will finally announce the last stop of their One Last Tour tomorrow at 9am EST according to the video just released above. The trio will be hitting up Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore in early 2013 before heading to many stops throughout the United States. The tour site lists March 9th as the final date so far, which would conveniently coincide with Ultra Music Festival beginning in Miami the following weekend. Would it be too obvious to assume the trio end their story much the same way it began? We will find out for sure tomorrow morning. Check back for updates.
Swedish House Mafia announce 2 new locations on their One Last Tour
Swedish House Mafia just released another video announcing two new stops on their One Last Tour. The boys in black will be performing in Bucharest on December 14th and Helsinki on December 20th. Additional tickets have also been released for their November 24th show in Stockholm, Sweden.
