First debuted by KO KO, "Float" was an instant indie hit. Melancholy and poppy, the original saw cult success on the blogosphere and has now been re-recorded and remastered by Pacific Air (all the same members as KO KO, just with a different name.) The resurfacing of the track caught the ear of LA-based producer, TheFatRat, whose unique production style meshes perfectly with the high-pitched vocal cuts on "Float." Airy synths, ethereal echoes and subtle, everpresent, white noise morph the track into a progressive electro gem. The drop here is punchy and grinding but finds a unique balance amongst TheFatRat's re-imagining of the original's pop melodies.
