W&W & Ummet Ozcan – The Code (Original Mix) [Preview]
Coming off the high of year that put them on the map and all over it, genre-blending W&W have wasted no time in setting the stage for an even bigger 2013. On the heels of yesterday’s announcement that they would join Armin van Buuren on ASOT 600 NYC comes a preview for their latest track, “The Code.” The duo again teamed up with Ummet Ozcan on the track, giving it their signature big room sound, punchy synths and relentless drops. Already dropped in Hardwell's Essential Mix, the track will be released February 4 on Revealed Records.
Kid Massive & Alex Sayz ft. Miella – Strong (Original + Remixes)
Hardwell's Revealed Recordings continues into 2013 with the release of Kid Massive & Alex Sayz's thunderous original "Strong." Featuring the ethereal vocals of Miella, the two producers tread delicately between big room chord progressions and adrenaline laced electronica. "Strong" builds slowly, coerced into submission by the gorgeous choral efforts of Miella. White noise hums amidst powerful kicks as the energy pushes upwards before reaching it's peak, dropping abruptly into a cascade of stuttering electro chops and twisted synthesis. It marks another strong offering for Hardwell's imprint, which has seen a staggering array of genre-defining releases since its inception in 2010.
Capping off an incredible year, Hardwell reaches 500,000 fans and releases his Yearmix 2012
Few producers had as monumental a year as Hardwell in 2012, scaling the DJMag ranks to #6, releasing one of the best Essential Mixes of the Year, and establishing his own Revealed Recordings as one of the premiere progressive house imprints on the planet. His radio show isn't too shabby either, climbing the iTunes charts and planting itself comfortably amongst the trance juggernaut podcasts of ASOT and Group Therapy. To signify a new year and reaching 500,000 Facebook fans, Hardwell has released his 2012 Yearmix featuring 13 tracks of the best that progressive house had to offer in 2012, including his career-defining "Spaceman."
