SnowGlobe snags Skrillex, Fisher, Gigantic NGHTMRE and more for 2019 edition
California’s fondest cold-weather festival is back with an enormous lineup for the 2019 iteration. SnowGlobe will return to the shores of South Lake Tahoe with the likes of GRiZ, Tchami and Malaa, Skrillex, and a rare NGHTMRE-Big Gigantic hybrid set, Gigantic NGHTMRE (surely a misnomer), bringing in the new year for this decade’s final turn around the sonic sun.
Last year, MTV purchased the controlling hand in SnowGlobe. However, corporate sponsorship hasn’t removed the class or diminished the illustrious artist pickings from this event. For West Coast festivals (and in general for multi-season climates), most organizers opt for the outdoor splendor of spring and summer tenures, but SnowGlobe has long provided cause for celebration to Californians who enjoy bundling up and getting down around the holidays.
