Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank – Shades of Grey ft. Delaney Jane
Shaun Frank and Oliver Heldens's styles collide on the duo's debut collaboration "Shades of Grey." Heldens' already established sound is paired with the "Time" producer's weirdly infectious grooves for a familiar, yet interesting, output from the future house talents.
Ferdinand Weber – What (Original Mix)
Fresh from the techno capital of the world, Berlin, comes Spinnin Deep frontrunner Ferdinand Weber. Although far less jarring than the music that populates Berghain, the German house connoisseur details some rough edges in his generally melodic production "What." More sunshine than techno dungeon, Weber ditches his pal Fabich on his latest original but doesn't seem to falter in the absence of his partner in crime. A bright burst of bottled up sunshine and free love era sentiments, Weber crafts an interesting cross-section between highly infectious grooves and floating-in-the-pool touches. "What" will be released on April 24th via Spinnin Deep.
Ferreck Dawn – Another Day ft. BISHØP (Original Mix)
Dutch deep house talent Ferreck Dawn returns to Spinnin Deep following his collaboration with Redondo "Love So Deep." While many of the imprint's releases have towed the line towards the nu-deep sound, "Another Day" takes cues from the subterranean, pairing a rough-hewn bass line reminiscent of Ten Walls "Walking with Elephants" and a scintillating melodic progression that polishes out the production's gritty edge. Enlisting the help of BISHØP's sensual scowls, the Spinnin Deep forebear crafts a Jekyll/Hyde style output for one of the industry's most forward-thinking labels.
