Three dead after stampede at Steve Aoki concert in Madrid
Tragedy strikes yet another dance music show, this time during a Halloween party in Madrid headlined by Steve Aoki. 3 women have been reported dead from injuries they sustained by being crushed by fellow concertgoers in the crowd, 2 others remain in critical condition. The fatalities did not occur on the dance floor, but rather in a bottleneck that occurred after a flare was set off inside the venue causing mass panic. With only one open exit, patrons pushed and shoved their way into what has been described as a "passage of terror" causing the victims to become crushed in a scene that is eerily reminiscent of the tragedy at the Love Parade in 2010.
