Watch This: The Bloody Beetroots, Paul McCartney and Youth in ‘Out of Sight’ music video
This year's most unlikely collaboration "Out of Sight" featuring The Bloody Beetroots, Paul McCartney and Youth, goes one step further and debuts its official music video. Just as the production hearkens back to the hard rock of yore, "Out Of Sight's" music video is as rock n' roll as the distorted guitar riffs that drive the track's soul. Like everything Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo touches, the mind behind the mask leaves his chilling stamp on the cinematography here -- a smokey kaleidoscope of rock opera imagery.
The Bloody Beetroots feat. Paul McCartney and Youth – Out of Sight (Original Mix)
Two incredible talents, Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo and Sir Paul McCartney, have teamed up with Youth for what could possibly be the most unlikely collaboration of 2013. The Bloody Beetroots arena-electronica paired with Paul McCartney's vocal stylings is a match made in crossover heaven. Lush piano melodies and the ex-Beatles anthemic crooning fits effortlessly alongside the Beetroots growling synthesizers and thunderous kick drums. Did Paul McCartney just become the most bad ass grandpa in existence? I think so.
Paul McCartney to be featured on next The Bloody Beetroots release
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo has returned to the studio for another original production, this time bringing along the legendary, former Beatle Paul McCartney for the track "Out of Sight." Walking a fine line between electronica and full blown punk rock, The Bloody Beetroots have developed into electronic music's most respected live performers and it appears that McCartney shares a similar respect for Rifo's visionary productions. Always pushing the envelope, Rifo enlisted McCartney for the vocals of his latest punk rocktronica output. It may seem like an unorthodox move for the aging rock star, but Paul has always been in tune the brightest and best in music - citing MGMT as one of his favorite bands back when they released Oracular Spectacular.
The Bloody Beetroots – Rocksteady (Gigi Barocco Remix)
Italian producer Gigi Barocco takes The Bloody Beetroots latest screamer "Rocksteady" and injects it full of adrenaline. Like freebasing monstrous bass, this remix makes your heart jump out of your chest while it kicks you in the head with steel-toed boots. Heavy dubstep wobbles and huge percussion turn the energy up to 11 - it's not easy to go harder than Sir Cornelius Rifo but Gigi Barocco has risen to the challenge -- with impressive results.
The Bloody Beetroots return with “Rocksteady”
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo is back with the same aggressive, punk rock meets dance music aesthetic we've come to love from the Italian producer. Ever since the Cornelius EP, Rifo and The Bloody Beetroots (either as a DJ set or as Death Crew 77) have always presented themselves as an electronic, punk art movement - more than just big drops and tasty breakdowns. They continue that trend with "Rocksteady" a teeth rattling, gritty, electro-house track whose accompanying video is as balls to the wall as it's synth work. So throw on your Venom masks, turn the volume on your stereo up to 11 and celebrate the return of The Bloody Beetroots.
