W&W & Ummet Ozcan – The Code (Original Mix) [Preview]
Coming off the high of year that put them on the map and all over it, genre-blending W&W have wasted no time in setting the stage for an even bigger 2013. On the heels of yesterday’s announcement that they would join Armin van Buuren on ASOT 600 NYC comes a preview for their latest track, “The Code.” The duo again teamed up with Ummet Ozcan on the track, giving it their signature big room sound, punchy synths and relentless drops. Already dropped in Hardwell's Essential Mix, the track will be released February 4 on Revealed Records.
Armin van Buuren & Markus Schulz put heads together for new ASOT600 anthem ‘The Expedition’
With every new ASOT tour comes a new ASOT anthem. As of this week, we're only four weeks away from first stop on Armin van Buuren's worldwide celebration of his 600th episode of the A State of Trance radio show. It's customary for Armin to recruit one of his many trance peers to produce an official anthem for the tour (last year was W&W's "The Invasion"), and this year Armin collaborated with big name American trance producer Markus Schulz to create "The Expedition."
W&W – Lift Off! (Original Mix)
Although it has been a few months since W&W released their single "Moscow" and even longer since "Shotgun," it's clear that the Dutch duo has been hard at work in the studio. "Lift Off!" begins with high synths and a spacey melody before culminating in a stutter-laced drop. The hard trance, electro, and punchy bass combine to gives us a genre-blending production - the type of tracks that we have come to expect from W&W. Officially released on Mainstage Records, "Lift Off!" is now available on Beatport.
W&W & Jochen Miller – Summer (Official Music Video)
Dutch duo W&W and Jochen Miller have joined forces on the production side to give way to "Summer" - the synth loaded and melody driven summertime smasher. Jochen Miller takes us through the heart of Amsterdam into W&W's studio where the collaborative effort takes place.
W&W – Shotgun (Original Mix)
W&W's Shotgun" treads the fine line between trance and big-room house, and it would be confusing to classify it as one or the other. The synths, when we hear them, are distinctively trancey. But we don't hear them much -- most of the track is rhythmic rather than melodic. Rumble, thump, pummel. Rumble, thump, pummel.
