Mord Fustang and Beatport launch new remix contest
Beatport’s remix contests have helped launch the careers of Zedd and Seven Lions and with only one week remaining to remix Dillon Francis’ version of “Some Chords,” Beatport has introduced another contest. This time with Mord Fustang at the forefront, burgeoning producers are given a chance to take on the Estonian’s LIINKS-assisted original “Pop.” The deadline to enter is February 16th, with voting ending on March 2nd, and the winner being announced on March 17th. If you happen to catch the producer’s ear, the grand prize is a release on Magic Trooper, an Izotope Ozone 6 software package, a one-year LANDR Pro Unlimited online mastering subscription, and a Sounds to Sample Elements library.
