Electronic dance music’s culture is deeply rooted in the live experience\u2014the music and the live setting inextricably tied in a way that perhaps supersedes any other musical genre out there. As live events started to drop off the calendar this past spring, there was no way of knowing the global health crisis we were beginning to face would not only cancel the vast majority of live music events in 2020, but it would fundamentally alter our understanding, and appreciation for, the live events industry as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For that we’re thankful.
