Kaskade shares full version of deadmau5 collaboration, ‘Beneath With Me’
Nearly a year ago, Kaskade and deadmau5 allowed history to repeat itself as the duo unveiled “Beneath With Me,” a somber record featuring Skylar Grey that marked the follow-up to their 2008 collaboration, “I Remember.” Eliciting fond memories of dance music’s earlier years, “Beneath With Me” was the pair’s response to fans’ desperate pleas for a new offering from the duo.
A year later, the stirring collaboration has received a powerful new revision, boasting a series of stabbing, hair-raising synths and a techno-tinged groove. The melancholic topline and deadmau5-approved chord play remain intact, though the pair have included an entire new drop section, making “Beneath With Me V.3” an unexpected, yet pleasant surprise.
The only question remains: was its publication intentional?
