Comprised of Chrome Sparks and Charlie Brands, the duo of Promise Ltd. have risen to the occasion on their debut, self-titled EP, a four-track display of a new strain of pop. Off of Promises Ltd. comes “American Eyes” – perhaps the duo’s most definitive record off the project – which has circle the sonic sphere with a groovy remix from Gigamesh and club-geared version from AMTRAC.
Now on remix duties for “American Eyes” is Gilligan Moss, who take a different approach than the aforementioned producers. Playing upon the original record, Moss leans on the alternative-meets-electronic aesthetic with emphasis on the dance-friendly tempo.
