Kenny Beats and Ryan Marks are the duo behind LOUDPVCK, a dynamic, genre-crossing project that has experimented with an eclectic array of sounds. The two met while attending Berklee College of Music where they teamed up and have been performing together since 2012.
The two have collaborated on numerous energetic tracks, produced countless uplifting remixes, and have worked with artists such as Zed’s Dead, NERVO, Carnage, and Dada Life among several others. The duo continues to keep things fresh by integrating novel styles in their work as well as featuring collaborations with up-and-coming and established producers.
Their latest release, “BONES” is a collaboration with Michael Sparks and showcases trippy oscillating synths over cacophonous drops and a neck-snapping, loaded bass line. LOUDPVCK’s AXIS mix is a captivating collection of songs features tracks from JOYRYDE, NGHTMRE, Soltan, and EPTIC that will leave you wanting more.
According to Ryan, the most important thing when it comes to making music is “overall musicality and everything being in its right place,” while Kenny adds, “We try very hard to make sure nothing goes overlooked or unnoticed, even when it’s the simplest idea. Also, being in the right space to make music is extremely important for us, which means cracking a lot of jokes and smoking violent amounts of weed.”
With smooth transitions, excellent song selection, and a much needed dose of high energy, the duo’s AXIS will not disappoint.
