Manufactured Superstars ft. Selina Albright – Serious (Various Remixes)
The Manufactured Superstars gave us the time of our lives at Playhouse Hollywood earlier this summer (read the review here). Needless to say, we are ready for round two at Ruby Skye this Saturday and we expect some serious bombs to be dropped. The extended mix of “Serious” provides us a piano build up with an excellent synth filled drop. Selina Albright’s vocals are breathtaking throughout the whole track. You will love the original mix, but make sure to listen to all the remixes you are in for a treat.

Whoa! Is this really Calvin Harris? The Calvin we have known to love usually has a more pop influenced house style, his latest tracks – “Bounce” and “Feels So Close” are reminiscent of that fact. However, this spiritual progressive remix of Manufactured Superstars track “Serious” is on point. Dancing Astronaut are big fans of DJ’s varying their styles, especially when it works. Glad to see that Calvin has a few tricks up his sleeve, should he be in the DJ Mag top 100? Let me answer that question for you – hell yes.
Manufactured Superstars ft. Selina Albright – Serious (Calvin Harris Remix)
When compared to the Calvin Harris remix this goes much harder. The thumping drums extend for quite sometime, which is somewhat similar to “Awooga“. The vocals mesh well with the progressive build up, although Calvin’s is our favorite out of the package this one is still a great hit, this reminds us of some of David Guetta’s FMIF remixes!

Forcing Function comes out with the most electro version of “Serious”, you can hear the dirty distortions emitting from your speakers. This reminds me a little of what a Zedd would produce, although the drop doesn’t hit quite as hard. We are really n-joying the cut up vocals towards the end of the track!

Fei Fei’s feided remix gives us a progressive big room bomb! It is a little faster paced than the original mix and incorporates those huge lead synths a la Tiesto. The build up takes a while to get going but when the drop hits you better believe you will be dancing your ass off!

Glenn Morrison’s remix is the perfect blend of progressive and tech house. If you need music to chill out to look no farther than this version of “Serious”. While it may not be a club banger, it still is very well produced and brings out the beauty in Selina’s vocals. Grab an adult beverage and get lost in this track!
Manufactured Superstars ft. Selina Albright – Serious (Glenn Morrison Remix)
“Serious” may be the most remixable track since “Give Me Everything”. Trent Cantrelle’s rendition is a fast paced tech house. This is something we would envision being well received during Miami Music Week when people are sipping on Pina Colada’s while laying out on South Beach. Either way Dancing Astronaut loves the pianos and the positive energy this remix brings. Chalk all of these up as winners!
