After taking a look at the most highly anticipated collaborator on Random Access Memories, Giorgio Moroder, Daft Punk continues their video series with another musician. New Jersey native Todd Edwards begins his interview agreeing that he changed his life for his Daft Punk collaboration uprooting himself from New Jersey and heading out to California to develop a West Coast-Fleetwood Mac vibe. Reminiscing on time spent with the duo in California, Edwards goes on to talk about the production process with them. The garage producer refers to his sampling skills and his sound that’s been described as a “futuristic flow” before taking us in the studio with Thomas and Guy. Indulge in the second episode of “The Collaborators” ahead of the album’s May 21st release date.
