Crystal Fighters unveil the full remix package for their latest “You & I” with selections and sounds from across the musical spectrum. Moving swiftly from the distraught deep house stylings of Yeasayer through to the heavy-footed club vibes of American disco-smith Gigamesh, the sheer range of remixes are easy to spot. Yellow Claw’s topical trap remodel hits the spot with simplistic ethnic charm, with Nathan C’s remix shaking proceedings with a firm peak time rendition of the track. Psychedelic electronic and ambient down-tempo are Sunless 97 and Kirk Spencers respective weapons of choice, finishing off an EP of remixes diverse in sound and talent scope, but ultimately owned by Gigamesh and Nathan C’s on-point remodels.
