With over 200 collective tracks and two decades of dance music experience under their belts, Alex Odden and Michael Parsberg have joined forces to form Pegboard Nerds. Together as a duo, they’ve already taken on remix duties for the likes of Skrillex, Morten Breum, and Krewella. This week, the duo extended their streak with a rendition of J. Viewz’s “Far Too Close.” Shifting gears on the indie sound of the original, Alex and Michael swap a calm, funky harmony for dubstep, but do so while keeping the track’s overall aura intact.
