Forward thinking electronic musician Nicolas Jaar has teamed up with his Darkside cohort Dave Harrington to provide their own vision of Daft Punk’s entire Random Access Memories, reflecting the hit album through Jaar’s signature arcane artistic prism. Ranging from improvisational and unpredictable instrumental cuts to moody meanderings through recognizable aspects of the originals, the remixes that comprise this uncommon reinterpretation make for a fascinating and worthwhile listen for fans of either act.
