Steve Angello, Matisse & Sadko unleash ‘SLVR,’ official 100th Size Records release
Back in March, we had celebrated the tenth anniversary of Size Records, which coincidentally was a time when the label had 99 releases under its belt and was preparing for their monumental 100th. Skipping over the celebratory track with it presumably still in works, Size has since released a handful of records from its talented team. Today, Steve Angello has finally released the official 100th release of his Size imprint, presenting it as an original production with co-collaborators Mattise & Sadko.
The record is dubbed “SLVR” and, for those who have seen Angello live over the course of the past six month, this his will strike with a strong sense of familiarity and nostalgia. Boasting Steve’s signature anthemic production value along the build of growing chords and spurts of anticipating synth teases, Matisse & Sadko’s contribution comes subtly with the melodic touch. This match made and heaven has been a main stage weapon for Steve this festival season, and it’s release marks one special moment for Size but, even greater, will allow the newest dance concoctions from Size to make way sooner than later.
