Norwegian breakouts CLMD took centre stage last night with a debut live appearance for the P3 Gull national radio awards in Oslo. Whilst they fell just short of their nomination for ‘Newcomer of the year’ this time around, the duo compensated with a stunning live rendition of vocal offerings “Black Eyes & Blue” and “The Stockholm Syndrome,” taking their melodic club tendencies to a new and visibly well received level for this special career first on homeland channel NRK . As an award serving the wider scope of popular music, their very involvement and nomination marks a real turn for the Norwegian music industry and its growing acceptance of electronic music. Add the fact that the boys pull of their music seamlessly in the live arena and this is a moment not to be missed from one of Scandinavia’s most promising house duos to date.
