Traditionally, cold weather and outdoor festivals simply do not mix. However, the yearly Colorado electronic-heavy festival Snowball has earned a name for itself by dismissing the conventional and bringing the most exciting acts to the base camp of the world’s finest ski resorts. The highlight, though, rests with a diverse lineup, starring acts that showcase the raw talent and musicianship that the Colorado music scene demands. While homegrown fans are sure to rejoice with an entire Pretty Lights Music showcase and a performance by Griz with a saxophone in check next to the decks, the finest of international upcoming talent will also be on display as the festival hosts Australian-natives Wave Racer and What So Not. Knife Party joins the lineup to add a heavier aspect to the bright lights of Denver, and rap act Earl Sweatshirt puts on a rare performance for those looking for hot bars in the cold weather. From April 4th to April 6th, the city of Denver hosts an ambitiously exciting festival lineup.
