Experience Visionquest at Mysteryland for the only 2014 performance involving all 4 members
Visionquest are Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss – the most innovative and exciting new breed of musicians to emerge from Detroit in a generation. Together they make up a four-piece DJing and production outfit at the head of the much-lauded Visionquest record label, the epicenter of a collective of musical free thinkers and techno mavens who’s only pursuit is to push the envelope and evolution of dance music forward.
Last year, they embarked on a daring adventure – Visionquest 13, an immersive experience that staged thirteen unique events throughout the world. This abstract mini-documentary chronicles that adventure and discusses the ideals behind it — setting the perfect stage for their performance on the Spiegeltent at Mysteryland’s US debut.
Tucked away in Bethel Woods, far from the concrete jungles of their Detroit home, the foursome be performing together just once in 2014, on Saturday at the Sunday School mini-festival at Mysteryland. If you’re still not sold on making the trek to the birthplace of Woodstock, Troxler, Crosson, Reeves and Curtiss’s one and only performance of the year should give you reason enough to attend.
