Wiwek is one producer who’s been well established yet proceeds to deliver while under the radar. His original “Magua” released in 2012 was a foreshadowing of future festival sounds and his more recent outings for the likes of Smash The House and Rising Music match his frenetic, tribal insigna. Returning this week on Wolfgang Gartner’s Kindergarten imprint, Wiwek teams up with Jeremia Jones and Kalibwoy for “Bad Gyal.” The collaboration is suited for a caribbean, let-loose atmosphere — finding the venue between electro-house and reggaeton best since Major Lazer’s Apocalypse Soon EP.
