Zedd leads The Real Cost’s anti-smoking campaign
Leave it to Zedd, mastermind behind the emotive anthems “Clarity” and “Stay the Night” (to name a few), to tie together his extensive background in music with a positive message for the masses. Anton has stepped up as the newest face for an anti-smoking campaign in collaboration with The Real Cost. In a new series of YouTube videos, Zedd explores that beyond being surrounded by his own family of musical talents, it’s vital to feel healthy and good in order to his create music. Narrowly avoiding quoting Fatboy Slim, he lists sleeping and eating healthy as important habits to upkeep a successful lifestyle and continues to explain how smoking would detract from his own.
Perhaps alluding to both discouraging cigarettes to his fan base and potential music hopefuls, he concludes:
“Sometimes people will tell you that it’s the right thing to do, something that you strongly believe is wrong. The moment you step aside to do something other people tell you is right, you aren’t yourself. Be yourself.”
Along with several flashy GIFs and an exclusive “Stay the Night” video, The Real Cost is pushing to educate youths and fans of Zedd’s respected image in their latest anti-smoking campaign.
