Kaskade signs multi-year residency with Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub
In addition to his many exciting announcements in this past week, Kaskade has also revealed his freshly inked residency with Las Vegas favorites Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub. The multi-year contract will mean that Kaskade will grace the XS and Encore Beach Club stages for over 50 shows from now until January 2017.
It’s no secret that a multi-year residency is a rarity on the ever-changing Las Vegas Strip, but for Wynn Las Vegas, the choice to invite Kaskade for the two-year residency comes full circle to his very first exclusive contract with Encore Beach Club in 2010. Before DJ residencies became common for the city, Kaskade was one of the first artists to attain an extended Vegas booking: “We brought Kaskade to Encore Beach Club for his first exclusive Las Vegas residency in 2010, which ignited the dayclub scene and kick-started the huge EDM phenomenon seen on the Strip today,” said Sean Christie, managing partner of Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub.
Leaving behind his previous residency at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan, Kaskade has already begun to roll out dates for Wynn’s top tier venues from now until June. “Kaskade is one of the most iconic DJs of our time and was one of the first artists we put in the center of XS nightclub for an experience that had never been seen before in Las Vegas,” said Jesse Waits, managing partner of XS and Tryst nightclubs.
