T-Mobile cements their place in dance music with new Above & Beyond video series
Already with heavy integration and sponsorship for Zedd and an exclusive US provider deal with SFX, T-Mobile is well on its way to becoming one of the few major corporate brands associated with dance music artists and culture. Already boasting the largest population of active music consuming users, T-Mobile followed the lead by pursuing a collaboration with Beatport as well as launching their own ‘Music Freedom,’ which gives users unlimited data to stream music from SoundCloud, Pandora, and Spotify. Following only Live Nation and Smirnoff with Tiësto, and Insomniac and 7UP’s partnership deal, T-Mobile is set to be the third financial heavyweight in the EDM business realm.
The phone provider’s next venture brings in Above & Beyond, the beloved trio that champions their album title and now touring phrase, ‘We Are All We Need,’ for a series of emotional aftermovies. Beginning with their Los Angeles kickoff at The Forum, their new series gives an exclusive look into the tour with interviews from Jono, Pavo, and Tony, as well as a fun first-person experience from some of their fans as they travel through the days to get to the show.
